Alejandro Robaina cigar humidor
Cigar humidor, with rounded corners, made of blackened cedar and lemon tree veneer. Inside opens to reveal a fan like display of five cigar holders, each for ten cigars, imitating an ancient way of cigar display. On top is a portrait of Alejandro Robaina. Signed by hand Alejandro Robaina 11/6/2005-01. With humidification system.

Alejandro Robaina was born in Alquizar the 20th of March 1919 in Alquizar, and died the 17th of April 2010 in San Luis. Tobaco leaves from Robaina's plantations are often regarded as amongst the best in the world and are used for high quality cigars such as Cohiba and Hoyo de Monterrey. Alejandro has been called the "Godfather of cuban tobaco". During the 1990's, Robaina was recognised by the Cuban government as the best tobaco producer of Cuba. In 1997, the brand Vegas Robaina was created by the government, belonging to Habanos SA, in honor of Robaina's accomplishments in the tobaco industry.
