Fulgencio Batista's cigar boxes

Extremely rare collection of 4 cigar boxes for Fulgencio Batista.

- The first one, square shape, varnished cedar veneer with marquetry stars and lozenges designs. Interior inscription: Al excelentisimo Presidente de la Republica de Cuba Sr. Fulgencio Batista Galdivar and the brand La Corona. Cuba, circa 1955.

- The second, light coloured mahagonay inlaid with burr elm. In its center a marqueted shield of the Republic of Cuba. Interior inscription: Colonel Fulgencio Batista, erased in part, and H.Upmann stamp. Cuba, made by La Nacional, circa 1945.

- The third, ractangular shape mahogany and engraved mahogany veneer, with green and white lines. Interior inscription: Al honorable Coronel Fulgencio Batista - Presidente de la Republica - C.F. Armenteros, H.Upmann stamp. Cuba, circa 1950.

- The fourth of mahogany veneer with double white lines. On top a transfered shield of the Republic of Cuba. Interior inscription, covered in black: Obsequio del Mayor General Fulgencio Batista a Zaldino C. de H. Travail cubain, circa 1956.
